A/V Information – Bridger Field House & Deacon Tower


Tier I

Tier I is defined as anything that can be accomplished from the Touch Panel (TP) and these functions can be accomplished by the user. Tier I may include pre-event support from Wake Forest Athletics Multimedia at no additional cost (available upon request). Note: For additional peace of mind, Wake Forest Athletics multimedia personnel can staff the event for $50/hr.

Tier I functions include:

  • PC/Computer- Displaying a PC/computer (audio connection also available, if needed)
  • CATV- Watching Cable TV
  • Auxiliary A/V- Plugging in an external source like a DVD player or camcorder
  • Audio- Listening to XM Radio, PC, CATV, Auxiliary Device, Ipod/Ipad

Tier I Meeting spaces include:

Deacon Tower

  • 4th Floor – North Lounge
  • 4th Floor – South Lounge
  • 5th Floor – Moricle Suite

Bridger Field House

  • Snead Club Room – Full
  • Snead Club Room – East
  • Snead Club Room – Center
  • Snead Club Room – West
  • Barnes Sports Lounge
  • Helms Conference Room

Tier II

Tier II is defined as anything requiring event support from Wake Forest Athletics Multimedia and includes the following situations:

  • Adding basic operation of the BB&T Field video board to any of the Tier I functions. Basic operation of the video board is defined as displaying no more than five (5) still images (images must be provided in the correct format*).
  • Dividing and/or combining the Snead Room as required.
  • Configuring the 6th floor Press Area of Deacon Tower for an event.

Tier II requires event support from Wake Forest Athletics Multimedia, and additional costs range from $50-$125 per hour. In addition there is a $500 charge for use of the BB&T Field video board.

Format requirements for BB&T Field video board images:

  • .Jpg
  • Resolution of 840px x 1800px
  • Resolution must be in pixels

Note:

  • Images must be submitted 7 days prior to the event. A consultation visit is included and required 7 days prior to the event
  • Resizing / Reformatting of content is subject to an additional fee of $50 per hour

Tier III

Tier III is defined as anything requiring more extensive event support from Wake Forest Athletics Multimedia as well as the use of audio/visual equipment outside of the existing meeting rooms (i.e. game fields, locker rooms, tailgate areas, concourses, etc.).

Examples of Tier III functions include:

  • BB&T Field Video Board Use (non-basic)
  • Displaying multiple images on the video board, sequenced and timed
  • Playing video’s on the video board
  • Use of the Audio System in the BB&T Field seating bowl
  • Routing Audio and Video to different parts of the facility (Deacon Tower 4th/5th/6th floors, Bridger Field House, Wake Forest Baseball Park, Wake Forest Tennis Complex)
  • Recording the event
  • Multiple operational tasks that require a skilled engineer (Run Video, Route it to the entire facility including the Video Board, switch to a still image, change audio to mic for presenter etc.)

Note:

  • Images must be submitted 7 days prior to the event. A consultation visit is included and required 7 days prior to the event
  • Resizing / Reformatting of content is subject to an additional fee of $50 per hour
    Tier III requires event support from Wake Forest Athletics Multimedia at an additional cost of $125 per hour. In addition there is a $500 charge for use of the BB&T Field video board.
