Parking and Traffic Advisory for the LJVM Coliseum
Winston-Salem, NC (March 16, 2017) — Heavy congestion is expected on the roadways coming from all directions into Winston-Salem due to the sold-out concert for Thomas Rhett’s Home Team Tour on Saturday, March 18th, 2017 at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial (LJVM) Coliseum.
Wake Forest University Athletic department staff has coordinated traffic efforts with North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT), Winston-Salem Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and the Winston-Salem Police Department in an effort to manage traffic leading into the LJVM Coliseum by adding messaging along Interstate 40, U.S. Highway 52 and U.S. Highway 421 into Winston-Salem.
LJVM Coliseum staff urges guests to arrive early for the show to avoid delays. Parking lots will open at 4:00 P.M. Parking will be available in all premium lots and will be cash only set at $20.00 per parking space.
Local traffic be advised, heavy traffic is expected surrounding the LJVM Coliseum cross streets from 4:00 P.M. until approximately 7:00 P.M.
Doors for Thomas Rhett’s Home Team Tour are scheduled to open at 5:30 P.M., and the show is scheduled to start at 7:00 P.M. Guests should use the suggested routes for concert traffic by selecting the appropriate hyperlink below. The routes are based on geographic locations from the surrounding areas with mobile friendly directions. A map has also been provided to show parking entrances and locations for the show.
