WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Coming off Wake Forest’s fifth bowl championship in the last seven years, Deacon Nation and the entire Winston-Salem and Triad Community can begin to make plans for the upcoming 2023 football season now. The Deacs will open next season with Elon on Thursday, Aug. 31 inside Truist Field.
Tickets for Opening Night at Truist Field are available for just $15 and four-pack tickets begin at an initial price of $49 for a limited time only. The purchase of a four-pack ticket package includes a FREE Joel Coliseum lot parking pass while supplies last.
Game time and broadcast information will be announced at a later date, but tickets are on sale now for this fun and exciting event. Additionally, the entire 2023 Wake Forest football schedule will be unveiled by the Atlantic Coast Conference at the end of the month.
Home opponents for this fall include Elon (Aug. 31), Vanderbilt (Sept. 9), Florida State, Georgia Tech, traditional Big Four rival NC State, and Pittsburgh. The Demon Deacons sport a 20-4 home record since 2019 and set a new attendance record in 2022.
Shortly after the 2023 schedule is finalized, Wake Forest University will determine and announce dates for Homecoming and Family Weekend.
